Austin Howard Burnside and Hunter Marshall Burnside were born to loving parents: Ethan Robert & Charissa Keely Burnside (nee Jones). 

Austin's middle name Howard comes from Ethan's late father Howard (Howie), and his grandfather Howard Burnside.

Hunter's middle name Marshall is Charissa's mother's maiden name, and obviously Great Nana's surname. 

It is very important to us to have family names somehow incorporated in our children's names.  Our next 2 children will have names after Ethan's Mom's side of the family and Charissa's Dad's side - that way all 4 grandparents are somehow covered. ;)

Austin & Hunter's Grandparents on Ethan's side are: Tom & Laura McElligott (and the late Howie Burnside).  On this side they have a total of 1 aunt and 4 uncles!  Uncle Dan lives in town here so we see him all the time, and then there's: Brian, Robert, Brenden and Catherine.  They also have a great Grandpa on Laura's side, and both sets of great grandparents on Howie & Tom's side.  Grandma Ackerman passed away just a few months before Hunter arrived.  Austin's Great - Great Grandma passed away when Austin was just 7 months old.  Both are remembered on this page with photos' with Austin.

Austin & Hunter's Grandparents on Charissa's side are: Alun & Ruth Jones.  They also have 2 more aunts: Jennica & Kayla.  They also have their one and only first cousin: Skyler Alun, who was born to Jennica on November 15, 2003.  They also have Great Nana (Ruth's mom) who lives in Eastern Canada, and no other grandparents on this side of the family.  They have yet to meet Great Nana, so we will need to take a family vacation there just as soon as we're comfortable taking Hunter on a plane (well that and the fact that we have to juggle 2 kids on a plane!).
