Dear Santa,
My name is Austin, and I will be 8 months old right around Christmas time. I don't know how to type words yet ( I do bang very well on the keyboard though, but I'm not supposed to Dad says), so my mom is helping me, hope that's OK. Mom & I thought maybe you’d like to see a picture of me, plus then you’ll know who to look for at Christmas when you’re at my house. Dad, Mom & I will leave you cookies and milk, and some carrots for the reindeer. Hope you like them!
I have lots of toys so I don't really need anything, but there are a few things I would like, and some things Mom says that I need.
1. Dad & Mom think I need new clothes, since it’s getting colder now. Mom thinks I need more socks, turtlenecks & undershirts since the old ones don't do up very well now. I’m a size 12-18 months in most things, some things I need a 18-24 months. Dad says we need to buy clothes in big sizes for me since I grow so fast, so maybe a couple things in the 18-24 month size would be best. Mom thinks I look cute in Baby Gap and Old Navy clothes. Dad says I look cute in any boy-ish clothes, so if it fits me, I’ll have to wear it.
2. Mom thinks I need a snowsuit, but we haven’t found any ones that I like yet, so if you see some you like for me, that’d be great!
3. I love Fisher Price Little People. I know I’m not really old enough for them yet, but they’re fun anyways. I know Mom & Dad got me some already (I peeked), but I don’t know which ones, and I’d like the Nativity Scene one if they haven’t got it for me yet. Mom says we already have lots put one side, so you might want to check with her first. I like lots of other toys too, anything fun to play with is good.
4. I'd like some new bath toys and a net to hang them in. Dad doesn’t like stepping on my toys when he gets in the shower. I love bath toys. I'd like one of those battery frogs that kick & swim in the tub. I also could use a bath ring for me to sit in.
5. I’d also like some Sing a Long videos & CD's for the car. Mom & I like to sing to them. Veggie Tales are my favorites and we like the Disney ones too. I like just the plain old Veggie Tales & Disney cartoons too. We have a bunch from when Mom was little so you might want to check with her which ones we have.
6. Mom & Dad think I need some books, so I get smart. I like it when they read to me, so new books would be neat. We like the bible stories, especially Christopher Churchmouse, but all books are fun.
7. I'd like a keyboard too. I think they have some Winnie the Pooh ones for kids that I'd like. Dad doesn't seem very happy when I type on his, so maybe I should have my own.
That’s my wish list. I hope you don’t think it’s too long. I figured Mom & Dad could ask for the things I need, and I could ask for the fun stuff I like, and that’d be ok. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter Santa, I know you're busy this time of year. I can't wait to see you, I'll be waiting up for you and I might just crawl out of bed to come sit by the tree! Just don't tell Mom & Dad that part, they think I'm going to be sleeping.
